Estuvimos una noche y la verdad, que bastante bien contando que todo es en música en inglés y que seguramente si hubiéramos pedido algo en español no nos lo hubieran puesto y entonces mi crítica sería otra. Los camareros eran amables. Las copas no eran muy buenas pero se dejaban tomar. Volvería sin más.

Pasamos una buena noche, jugamos al billar, vimos la pelea de eubank, cantamos alguna canción y bromeamos amistosamente. No era fanático del acto drag y pensaba que era muy pobre. Sobre todo no vayas con prisa. La banda sonora de este establecimiento sería sin duda la famosa canción Despacito. Tras dejarnos las cartas nos dejaron más de 15 minutos sin atender...cuando los pillen en hora punta y vaya increscendo el tiempo de espera la revuelta es segura. Al menos tenian mi sidra favorita strongbow. Por lo demás una hamburguesa y un sándwich normal. A un buen precio eso sí. Para pedir la cuenta otra vez des-pa-ci-to.

Buenas. Estuvimos este jueves tomando un cocktail en este lugar y la verdad q genial, los chicos q los hacen la verdad q buenísimos los hacen y con gusto. Los jueves hay un show de un hombre q se disfraza de mujer y va haciendo varios números. Esta muy currado. Y para finalizar calidad precio está genial. Vale mucho la pena ir .

Hace poco que estuve en Lanzarote con unos amigos y encontramos este sitio de pura casualidad. Los cócteles estaban impresionantes y muy originales. La terraza bonita y bastante grande. Los camareros eran muy simpáticos,guapos y atentos,sobretodo el camarero Cristian siempre pendiente de que estuviésemos a gusto en todo momento,muy profesional y siempre con una sonrisa en la cara que eso muchas veces se agradece. Sin duda en el próximo viaje volveremos a ir a Number One !!

Drew, Mark y Steve son todos muy talentosos músicos por derecho propio.El lugar es muy limpio y confortable, con un mobiliario, este no es tu "música" tipo pub normal de vacaciones, tiene un toque de clase y es obviamente muy bien cuidada.Había que hablar de cierre como drew puede estar buscando en más grandes y mejores cosas y si éste es el caso, deseo él y su familia toda la mejor y gracias por los últimos 3 años de entretenimiento. Primera vez en Costa Teguise y nos lo pasamos de maravilla en La Vida ...Nos fue a pie alrededor de la ciudad una noche y los bares eran o cantantes de karaoke o muerto, cuando vemos la señal para las almas SKA tuve que verlo.Cuando nos acercamos al bar, que chico fuera explicó el calentamiento sería en un tiempo, y luego la (SKA) almas, volvimos media hora más tarde y la música y el canto era en el ir.Cuando los (SKA) Sous llegó en nos reconoció la cantante ya que el calor pero que era no es molestia como él es bastante un buen cantante y sin duda sabe todas las palabras!!Las grandes cargas de noche de SKA y éxitos regea y todos nos jugamos con entusiasmo. a pesar de su pequeña multitud nos lo pasamos de maravilla, sin duda no testimonio cualquier bebida que me obligaran a cualquiera ya que las críticas anteriores han asignaron como demasiado y un hombre sentado con una copa de vino delante de él toda la noche y no se molestaba por personal de ninguna manera.Gran lugar, limpio y moderno, el personal es amable, la mejor noche de Lanzarote así que gracias a todos en La Vida.

Los encantadores bistros ofrecen una gran cantidad de hermosas vistas y deportes acuáticos. SUn camas € 4 cada uno para el día generalmente ventoso encantador. brisa tienen rompevientos estáticos, así que hace mucho calor. Me and my friend dropped in on the last day of our stay to the midlander and we had wished we would have spotted it sooner. Although we werent there long the owner and bar lady were friendly. We left there feeling like we had known them for years. Definitely would reccomend this place as its very sociable and has a beautiful setting.
Great pints and good banter , the bar staff are really friendly and football on at night , cheap pool table and last of all, make sure you get a sausage roll , amazing!! Just like home 😂

2nd stay for myself in lanzarote and 3rd for husband. Always a treat to come back to the Midlander as we have always been made to feel welcome. Never eaten here as always popped in in the evening but good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Owner and staff always chatty and good for a laugh. Love the place:)

Came across this bar by accident in January 2018 !Helen behind the bar alias, (Mucky Leeds) was a star, so we made it our local.She helped us with all sorts, from busses, attractions and where to get the cheapest cigies and booze.Great food too, sports, live entertainment, Worth a visit.

Brilliant bar, even tho it has been taken over from Marco. Elena is a lovely person always serves with a smile. The owner who we call Ruth ( not sure of spelling of real name ) The drinks and cocktails are of excellent quality. It's quiet at the moment due to it being their winter, I am sure in summer it gets really busy. It's a lovely bar to relax in. we wish them both well and hope their summer is prosperous.
Visited Costa Teguise over Christmas 2016 and called into Esquire for a drink on the way back to the apartments. This, in my opinion is the best bar in Costa, the drinks were delicious and very well priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and the staff are brilliant. If you are visiting Costa Teguise call in, you won't regret it. The bar is next to the Taj Mahal restaurant.
Amazing cocktails - highly recommended! Seasonal fruit mojito was the nicest I've ever had. Good prices too - visit for the nicest drinks in costa teguise.
Returned again to this excellent bar. Nothing too much trouble, treated like a friend. Quiet position but please seek this wonderful bar out, you will not be disappointed. Any cocktail you request can be made and still at only 5.50 euro. Love, Love , Love this Bar.
Introduced us to Jager and treated us so well. Definitely recommend plus I'm a Gooner. Stumbled upon it by accident and got to use the pool as well which was nice.
This was my second time visiting The Star. Once again, a great place to go for a drink. Relaxing environment with reasonable prices, music for every taste and staff with character. Martin and Gary are top blokes and a right laugh! I will definitely be returning!

Found this bar on a random night out in Costa Teguise. So glad I did because me and my family were back every night on our holiday. It's upstairs just next to 'the square'. The music is spot on, from the golden oldies to the new hits! You can even sing a song if you feel like. The karaoke is great because it's not pushed in your face like some other bars close by. The Staff were amazing, Martin (The Owner) was a great laugh and his side kick Gary was great with the kids. They even have a Bouncy Castle,2 sun terraces and a new pool table! Entertainment for everyone!The prices were normal but the sizes were massive! Free shots are sometimes given out too! Glad we found this bar, will defiantly be back to visit next year!
We found this bar 3 years ago and have been returning ever since. it has karaoke and a pool table to keep the kids entertained. it even has a bouncy castle for younger kids but adult supervision is required as it's on the first floor.It's not in a prime location as it's just off the main square, but well worth a visit.The host (Martin) is very welcoming and his son, Ryan has taken over the karaoke duties - he's a great laugh. He does a mean "Only Fools" rendition :-)We'll be back

The woman outside that attempts to get people in the bar is more funny than tempting. She pesters people until they feel the need to go in so she leaves you alone. Apart from that, they have free wifi and the staff were nice. Could do with being updated.
Went to the star bar to watch the football.Martin the owner .Ryan and ged were spot on Good local beer and good price for top shelf spirits.Georgina is a great host as well keeping the bar tended and not to forget the fab Sunday lunch all made from scratch by Julie.Would recomend this bar to anyone wanting live music karaoke and the kids kept amused not to mention a punt on a afternoon with GED.see u soon guys Alan DToon army
Had a fab time in this bar.One night there was a Madness Tribute band on.They were amazing.Was there with friends and it was a blast from the past for us.I have paid good money in the past to see bands of this style and they were the best ive seen.Terrific time had by all.

great atmosphere, we were made welcome from the start of our holiday and we went in most nights. the bar is very clean and the toilets are spotless. the drinks are reasonably priced and we staggered home every night . cant wait to go back would definitely recommend bamboozles to anyone . oh and the owners are great love you both ...
Great little bar with a good vibe, watched a few World Cup matches here and went back a few times more when visiting the town. Good food, friendly owner, would highly recommend for a beer or two when you are out and about.
We walked past this little bar many times over the years but stopped in this year and it was the best thing we done. The bar is now under new management (Nina). Nina was the bar manager at the Oasis Lanz for many years and has now took over this little Aladdin’s cave. Nina is the most welcoming person I have ever met and certainly made our holiday all that more special. There is a pool table (my partner and son say it’s the best on the resort), there is umbrellas with Bluetooth speakers so you are able to listen to your own music whilst you have a cold beer. I would encourage anyone to pop in and see Nina and get the word out about this little bar.
We accidentally stumbled on this pub as we heard the music playing from there and thought to give it a try as it is a bit tucked away from the main road. We were met by Nick who is the owner and he was very chatty, approachable and welcoming. My wife's daughter wanted to go back to the pub to play bingo as she seemed quite keen to do this. On our last time of visiting I must admit that I was served by I think his wife, and without trying to sound or be rude, the expression on her face never changed. Meaning that she didn't smile once or even spoke to me. I asked for what I wanted and said please and thank you, However I did not get a feeling of welcoming at all as Nick was the total opposite. I think to serve customers you must surely at the very least be pleasant approachable and most bar staff smile. I hate to say it but I do not think she appeared to be a people person to serve as she came across as very cold. That was my honest impression. Apart from that the beer was good.
My partner and I had two weeks in Lanzarote (yay!), and tried few of the bars on the main strip and beach front. We had varied experiences, with some good and some bad. However, when we stumbled upon, The Corner Bar, we found a real gem!Nick, the owner, is a retired butcher. He makes his own burgers and sausages which are so, so much better than anything else you'll find in Costa Teguise. Couple this with the warm hospitality you'll find from both him and his lovely wife, Jean, the co-owner, and you've got a perfect stop for a drink or a snack.My fiancé is a coeliac and they went the extra mile to make are she was safely fed. What's more, the breakfast was the best by miles regardless of your dietary requirements!!Nice pool table too - outside in the fresh air, but under shelter from the Lanzarote sun. Off the beaten track by about 15 steps. Best 15 steps you'll take on your holiday!!

We never knew this bar existed until our friend took us one afternoon. It has a few tables outside which is a proper little sun trap but also has tables inside if you need to cool off. Owners Nick and Jean are a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome. Music was good and drinks were reasonably priced. Would definately recommend this little bar and will be back on our next visit.
Nick and Jean were lovely and welcoming. We spend a couple of afternoons here in a recent short trip. Its down little alley off the main road. they serve their own burgers, I had a spicy chicken burger and my wife had a beef burger. They were delicious, served with home made chips and very reasonably priced. Bingo is on at 4 on Tuesday and Thursday and what makes it better was that we had a few wins! Can wait to get back to Lanzarote and visit again.
The corner Bar is tucked away down a little alley but seeable from the main road.It is a friendly little bar with a bit of entertainment going for it including Bingo and music.
Once again back at The Corner Bar, wonderful beer & fabulous food, Nick & Jean make you so welcome in this truly fantastic little sun trap. We all know Lanzarote can be windy, but if you are looking for a sun tan & good pint & fabulous snack, this is the place. Jake's Bar es un vibrante lugar en Costa Teguise que ofrece música en vivo, karaoke y excelente ambiente. Los dueños son amables y te hacen sentir como en casa. Su delicioso pollo es muy elogiado y tienen emocionantes noches de karaoke. Es ideal para disfrutar con amigos o en pareja, con precios razonables y televisores para ver partidos de fútbol. Aunque no tiene aire acondicionado, los visitantes disfrutan de la música y las bebidas. Es un pequeño pero animado bar que vale la pena visitar.

My girlfriend and I visited frequently and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Caz is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Oggy is ledge and does an amazing karaoke night. The booze is good and the company of the staff is excellent. See for yourselves.
We spent almost every night here !!The barman & landlady are lovely make you feel like family when you visit !! Free shot with your first drinks & is open until 2am Only downside there is no air conditioning inside & when there is a few ppl inside it gets VERY hot
if you love Karaoke this is a place for you. We went 2 out of our 7 night stay and the staff are really friendly and encouraging for you to join in. It was busy up to about 1230 with the older customers then everyone seemed to leave which we found quite odd. It was pretty dead up to about 130 then the younger set arrived. If you sing they give you a free shot each time. Not sure if this happens all the time or just when its quieter in the season. It may be a small venue but well worth a visit. Drinks seem competitively priced for this area.
My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere to watch the England football games (well I was looking) and we found Jakes bar. Nice little bar with tv screens everywhere you look, so wherever you sit you will able to see the football. The drinks were reasonable and the staff were very welcoming as soon as we got there. As I enjoyed watching the football the staff gave us free shots and talked to us about our holiday and where we were from. My girlfriend and I are racking our brains to remember the chefs name who also covered the bar when the football was on. He was a top bloke and we spent most of the evening chatting and having a laugh. He has worked over there for about 10 years and told us about different excursions and recommended things to do. The first night we were there I got really drunk and spent our taxi money on 1 last drink.....or 2. The chef even offered to lend us some euros to get back, which was so nice of him, but my girlfriend thought the walk back would do me good!The karaoke was great at the bar and Jake would step up himself to get it started each evening. When we returned to watch the second England game Jake and the chef recognised us straight away and the chef came to sit with us on his break and had a chat and we laughed about my drunken ways! The chef let us try some of the bars home made KFC which was great and I would recommend eating here if you fancy a change from your hotel. (Bar food)When we left the bar that night Jake said over the microphone that some friends from the UK were travelling back tomorrow and wished us a safe journey. Which we thought was really nice and made us feel we had been drinking in the bar for years. we found this bar by chance at the end of our holiday, and I wish we would have discovered it the moment we landed. it has to be the coolest bar on the island. Jake knows how to entertain, he's the most friendliest chap I have ever come across and we will be spending the entire two weeks at his bar next year. it was my wife's birthday and it was the best birthday ever. I have never sang on the karaoke till I went there. everyone must visit jakes when in costa teguise it should be law. just go and dance the night away. Lenny (twinkle toes)
