Lagunas y Playa de El Cotillo (El Cotillo)

Love El Cotillo, there are turquoise, clear lagoons protected from the big waves on one side of town. The big, wild beach at the other side of town is good fun for waves. The town itself has gorgeous little shops and restaurants. Being on the west coast of the island too means that it’s a great spot for sunsets.

Lovely beach with sandy shore and crystal clear lagoons. It is about 15 mins walking from the bus stop. There are toilets and showers near the life guard. We prepared drink and food for the day because restaurans and shops are not near. Naturists and bikini sunbathers next to each other with no problem.

Very clean water, nice sand. It can get very windy. Lots of parking along the coast.

Nice town, great beaches, especially when the conditions are good you can see some nice waves

Been a few times to this beach and it lovely and clean. Our 3 yr old grandson loved playing on the sand and in the water. It is a nudist beach as well 😎 we also went in the evening to watch sunset which I'd stunning highly recommend this. El Cotillo is a beautiful place to visit.…

El agua y la playa en sí huelen fatal. Creo que hay alguna tubería de desechos que desemboca cerca, porque el olor a bajante es horroroso. No la recomiendo nada. Literalmente aguantamos una hora y nos fuimos a otra playa.

Nice beach, bit rockey, plenty of parking space.

Amazing beach. White sands which makes also the water look turquoise, small lagunas with calm waters and then big waves further if you wish to have some fun. Not busy usually, restaurants few hundred metres away, car park close by. This place is great for relaxing and enjoying the view.

Olaya con agua súper limpia y transparente. Hemos venido en noviembre y hay gente, pero se está bien.

Una playa preciosa, me ha encantado. Es una zona de mucho viento pero puedes estar agusto si colocas la toalla en algún refugio de piedras.

I love this beach, although swimming here is dangerous. Water is wild and rough, you better bring a morey or a surfboard. You can also have a nice day just watching the surf schools or the awesome kitesurfers.
